Toen Schouw Informatisering in 1998 startte als Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner had het nog geen strikte focus op de voedingsmiddelenbranche. In deze periode meldden zich ook enkele non-food partijen bij Schouw Informatisering. Eén van deze partijen was Artimo Textiles. Hoewel ze geen food gerelateerd bedrijf zijn bleven ze bij Schouw Informatisering dankzij de sterke onderlinge band.

Bij de keuze voor een herimplementatie hoefden ze dan ook niet lang na te denken. Ze gaan wederom voor Dynamics NAV bij Schouw Informatisering. Deze keer implementeert Schouw de 2009 Role Tailored client versie van Dynamics NAV bij Artimo Textiles.

Op donderdag 7 juli demonstreert Schouw Informatisering tijdens een sessie bij Microsoft op Schiphol haar bedrijfsbrede ERP oplossing. Deze oplossing is op basis van Microsoft Dynamics® NAV; een flexibel ERP pakket dat  algemene functionaliteiten bezit zoals financiële administratie in combinatie met inkoop -, verkoop- en magazijnfunctionaliteiten.

Om de speciale wensen van de voedingsmiddelindustrie te kunnen bedienen worden deze pakketten aangevuld met de eigen standaard software  specifiek voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie: SI Foodware®. Deze combinatie ondervangt alle bedrijfsprocessen van een voedingsmiddelenbedrijf.

Naast een korte algemene inleiding over Dynamics NAV willen wij u enkele functionaliteiten in SI Foodware tonen die oplossing bieden aan veel problemen in de voedingsmiddelenbranche.

At Schouw Informatisering, we are fond of creating solutions that really add value for customers in the food and beverage industry. Our proven and certified solution SI Foodware is currently distributed in more than 10 countries worldwide.

However, as an ISV, we want to do more than just developing great software. We want to be ISV+. Together with our partners, we are looking for ways to improve not only our products, but also the way that our products are deployed at customer sites. Why? Because, if we can decrease the number of hours spent on an implementation of the products, our partners are able to do more projects per year. And our end users have more time to focus on their core business instead of deploying new ERP systems. Which leads to higher satisfaction rates, etc.

Speed is good though, but should not be equal to a lower quality. No. We do want to accelerate on both. Better implementations in shorter lead times. In order to reach those improvements, we built FoodFit, our approach to better, faster and easier projects. FoodFit was presented to our partners last week, including a theoretical class and input from the field in a session hosted by Schouw Netherlands. And as you master by doing, we’ve put FoodFit into practice for all attendees. A number of partners from across the globe attended the training at the Microsoft headquarters at Schiphol Airport, the Netherlands. A successful day with space for informal meetings and networking was finished by a dinner cruise in the canals of Amsterdam. An activity I can recommend for sure!
